Eastern European Leaders Strategic Planning

We hope that you had a blessed Easter! After celebrating the most important event in all of human history, the resurrection of Jesus Christ, I am filled with hope from our recent experiences and what the apostle John writes to us in Revelation 7:9-10. 

‘I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”’

Every so often as the body of Christ gathers together in oneness from diverse places throughout the world to seek and worship our Lord and Savior, the curtains of our earthly reality part, heaven opens, and we’re given a glimpse of what the future holds. That is how it felt for us to come together in Albania from 3 continents, 8 countries and 7 different languages to seek the Lord and plan for future ministry throughout Eastern Europe as part of our regional multiplication strategy. We celebrated God’s goodness to us throughout the year. We discussed what it means to develop resilience in ministry so we can finish well. We committed to working together to advance the gospel.

The Lord led us to deepen our relationships, advance our strategic plans and commit to ongoing partnership throughout the region. Thank you for praying!

Begin a new season of ministry

Shepherds’ Support is delighted to welcome Pastor Jim and Suzy Erb onto our staff as full-time missionaries beginning April 1. They have over 41 years of extensive pastoral and cross-cultural experience and have always enjoyed ministering together making them a great addition to our team.During the past three years we have seen them shine serving with us on multiple Shepherds’ Support training conferences. Jim and Suzy share a lifelong commitment to collaborative ministry and leveraging their distinct gifts to further the Gospel and advance God’s Kingdom.

Ways you can Pray

• Give thanks to the Lord for His presence and the Holy Spirit’s unity throughout our time with our Eastern European leaders in Albania. We are so thankful for these talented and faithful men and women.
• Pray that the Lord would direct us in the same manner when we meet with our Latin American Leaders May 10-19th.
• Pray for preparations and that we would be attentive to God’s leading.
• Please join us in praying for the plans and preparations for our upcoming pastoral training conferences in Ukraine, Tanzania, Belarus, and Paraguay.
