Praise the Lord for His mighty works!

May the glory of the LORD endure forever; may the LORD rejoice in his works!
Psalm 104:31

Despite the many challenges that our world is facing, we have seen the Lord work in mighty ways. May He receive the honor and glory for His using Shepherds’ Support this year in Peru, Ukraine, Ethiopia, Belarus, Cuba, Moldova and the Balkans!

We give God the glory for equipping pastoral couples to fulfill His mission.

We know that God loves us and desires people everywhere to come to know the Truth about Jesus (I Timothy 2:4). One of our goals this year has been to grow the size of our teaching teams so that we can more broadly serve pastoral couples around the world.

We thank God for our fantastic group of teachers and His gracious provision through you that has allowed us to host six training conferences in 2022. These have served to better equip hundreds of pastoral couples who are reaching people for Christ.

Cuba – August, 2022

This workshop helped me to affirm my call to be a pastor in Cuba, at a time when everyone is fleeing from the crisis. It also gave me new strength in our marriage and ministry. We continue to trust in God’s faithfulness.” Yordan, Cuba.

We give God the glory for encouraging healthy marriages and ministries.

We like to say that a person’s ministry won’t be stronger than the strength of their marriage. At every conference we find couples who arrive tired, stressed and discouraged. Ministry is hard and their marriage is often one of the casualties. However, we praise God that over the course of the training we get to see healing take place, relationships restored and a recommitment to serving Christ faithfully.

“I want to tell you that this saved my marriage. You arrived at precisely the right time. I am going to thank God forever for this conference. I want to also thank all of those praying for us from afar.” Juan, Peru

Peru – February, 2022

We give God the glory for engaging couples to learn from one another.

Sometimes it is not what you know, it is who you know that makes a difference. We often hear participants share how much they appreciate getting to know other pastoral couples who have traveled down the road further than they have. Engaging relationships across denominational lines that are focused on Christ has allowed us to see God build lasting friendships that spur ongoing pastoral care.

“It was a great opportunity to exchange experience and knowledge with other ministers and make new acquaintances. The training notes and materials are wonderful. It was great to hear answers from more experienced brothers and sisters.” Sergey, Belarus

We give God the glory for providing $89,580 for ministry and relief efforts to Ukraine.

I must carry out the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming, when no one can work. John 9:4

In 2023, we will continue to develop our regional multiplication strategies in Latin America and Eastern Europe. Please welcome Pastor William and Ruth Evaristo, our Latin America Associate Director and Pastor Will and Marie Schraven, our Eastern Europe Associate Director. We value the skills and experience they bring to our team. I think in the future we’ll just refer to them as Pastor Evaristo and Pastor Schraven. 🙂

The Lord continues to open doors for Shepherds’ Support. While our goal is always to follow Christ and not just “do” more converences, we are thankful for the many opportunities that we are given to serve in both existing and new areas. Would you like to join us?

We are preparing for the following training conferences, God-willing:
