Peru Training Conference
Urubamba, Peru – February 10-22, 2023
Some couples traveled only a short distance. Others traveled from between seven hours and three days to arrive, but all of them want you to know how thankful they are for your prayers and gifts that made their week together such a blessing. In one form or another, all 50 pastoral couples who attended last week’s Shepherds’ Support training in Urubamba, Peru expressed their deep appreciation for all of the care, teaching, encouragement and time that they had together as a couple.
Thank You!
Our team is also thankful. It was great to see how the Lord unified our messages from the book of Colossians, marriage, family and the Gospel together into one. The Lord allowed us to each connect with different people throughout the week.
The location was beautiful and provided some needed rest for these hard working pastoral couples. A prayer walk that we prepared provided a guide around the gardens and helped couples pause to address important aspects of their marriage. Having a separate room for each couple was a rare and incredible blessing.

“We praise and bless the Lord for you and for the beautiful time that you have given us this week. It has been a huge encouragement, blessing and strength to our marriage and ministry. We return to continue serving our great King of Kings.“
“Thank you for your investment in the Lord’s people all over the world. The ministry you have is invaluable and life-changing. Thank you for the example you’ve given us of something we can replicate in our churches. We’re already coordinating with several of them.”
One couple commented and we agree, “Beloved friends, we are very grateful to God and for each of you for praying for us over the past several years. You are an answer to our prayers. All that we learned we will reproduce with our brothers in Cusco. We will use your lives, examples and teaching. Thank you very much!”
And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord. Colossians 1:9-10
