The Republic of Georgia Pastoral Couples Training
September 5-14
What a wonderful week in Georgia! It was a privilege to be part of an international teaching team from the USA, Uzbekistan, and Armenia. We enjoyed seeing many new faces and there was a great mix of pastors and spouses from different denominations. It was impossible not fall in love with them. Serving in an Orthodox culture, one of the most difficult environments for the Gospel, they maintain a sincere love for Christ and for each other. Worshipping God and sharing communion together were special treats for us and Georgians really know how to laugh and enjoy life.

Here are a few of their comments!
“The teachings about grace renewed our love towards God, to stay with him not because of our works, but because of love and holiness. We decided to have more grace in our relationship, which we think will affect our future.”
“The conference showed us that every day, small steps are very important. We appreciate each other more and decided to spend more quality time together.”

“Every speaker had interesting topics. We especially liked Pastor Karen and his wife Tsogher. We liked the personal experience and practical advice from the couple from Uzbekistan. Also, Brad and Will were amazing with their discernment and humor. The romantic dinner party was also amazing. We enjoyed everything!”
“We returned home filled with the Holy Spirit, made new friends, and were impressed by all the new experiences. The topics of the sessions really addressed the problems that exist in families and churches today and offered the best solutions and paths for them.”

Your prayers prayers and gifts help make these transformative expressions of God’s love and care possible.
Thank you for being such a special part of our team!
