“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.”
A Psalm of praise patterned after Psalm 136
Yaremche, Ukraine, June 1 – 10
Thank you LORD for your all sufficient grace is enough for us, especially when we face change. Flight delays, lost luggage and adaptive travel plans don’t surprise you. Your timing is perfect and your provision is all that we need. “You are good and your steadfast love endures forever.”

WOW, what a joy to be back in Ukraine!! Thank you LORD for graciously bringing together 47 families (157 people) and allowing us to strengthen and encourage them. They gathered from eastern and central Ukraine, some under daily attacks. You love them LORD, their marriages, families and ministries. “You are good and your steadfast love endures forever.”
Thank you LORD for showing us that all that comes from the Father is good, because He is good. Even in the hardest of circumstances, God, you alway act out of your goodness! “You are good and your steadfast love endures forever.”

Thank you LORD for giving us grace, especially when we are ill. You heal our sicknesses. Thank you also for our children. Seeing their talents and joy this week brings glory to your name. “You are good and your steadfast love endures forever.”
Our last session on Psalm 23 and celebration of the Lord’s Supper together were emotional reminders of God’s love and the unity we have in Christ. Our Ukrainian brothers and sisters are heroes of faithfulness, bright shining witnesses for Jesus and the goodness of the Father. Although they return home to drone attacks, missile strikes, artillery shelling, and power and water outages, we give thanks to the LORD because He is always with them. “You are good and your steadfast love endures forever.”

Thank you for carrying us on your shoulders of prayer these past special weeks. You are a blessing and great encouragement to us!
May we continue to pray that the goodness and love of the Father be powerfully expressed through the lives, families and congregations of these faithful shepherds to a troubled world all around them!
