Teaching Team Training
March 8-12, 2023

36 hours of travel time, various planes, bumpy roads and hours in a full vehicle may not sound like a great time, but for our Shepherds’ Support teaching team members its all worthwhile just so they can pour into the lives of pastoral couples in person through our 7 training conferences this year.

We are so thankful for the 24 members of our teaching team. They are an extraordinary group of gifted, experienced and dedicated followers of Christ. God has blessed us through their faithful partnership and allowed Shepherds’ Support to encourage, equip and engage a greater number of ministry leaders as a result. It was a great joy to gather for five days at the William’s ranch last month to learn, pray and plan together for the year(s) ahead.
A cherished friend, Pastor Dave Ewert, was our guest speaker. Dave challenged us to consider how we daily “Sit at the Feet of Jesus.” All of us were moved by Dave’s personal experiences and the Biblical accounts of the special relationship Jesus had with Martha and Mary of Bethany. Keeping Jesus front and center in our lives and teachings is one of our core values.

We were also delighted to have Daniel and Kate Wurzberg from Croatia join us in person. Four other members of our teaching team joined us via Zoom, Pastor William and Ruth from Peru and Olimjon and Aysultan from Uzbekistan. A special highlight was having our partners, Sasha and Irina Kasprov, from Ukraine join us and give us a personal update on their ongoing church planting ministry in the midst of the war.

We thank the Lord this marvelous team that He has raised up to serve His Kingdom Mission. Please pray for our ongoing unity, wisdom in our preparations and hearts and minds that always look to Jesus as our first love.
We are better together!
