“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.”
A Psalm of praise patterned after Psalm 136

Central Asia, May 16 – 30
We give thanks to the Lord for the safe travel mercies that the pastoral couples experienced. The LORD has been with us in our comings and goings from so many places. “You are good and your steadfast love endures forever.”
Thank you God for the transformative power of your Word and the gift of rest. Thank you for uniting our teaching and the presence of your Spirit in our mealtime conversations. “You are good and your steadfast love endures forever.”

We praise you Lord for giving our team different gifts and for using them to speak personally into the lives of each participant. “You are good and your steadfast love endures forever.”
Thank you Father for loving your children so well. There were so many details throughout the week that expressed your lovingkindness for these shepherds.“You are good and your steadfast love endures forever.”

Thank you LORD for how engaged the couples were these two weeks and for being with them as they traveled home and reconnected with their families and ministries.“You are good and your steadfast love endures forever.”
Thank you LORD for your mighty work in these humble servants from Central Asia. May you guard their hearts, light their paths, keep them from stumbling and continue to shine the Gospel in and through them! “You are good and your steadfast love endures forever.”
One participant commented: “I am very thankful that God has opened the doors for us to come here. It was impossible for us to do on our own, but He is the one who does impossible things. Thank you for teaching us to learn from and love the Bible.”
Another wrote: “Every session and every word left its seeds in us. We didn’t expect that it would be this good and that every day there would be surprises for us. During these days I have become even closer with my wife. We see brothers and sisters getting closer to each other and couples growing closer together. We will never forget you. Thank you very much.”

Thank you for praying for these gracious, humble, faithful shepherds who are shining brightly for Jesus in a dark part of the world. You continue to bless them and encourage us greatly!
May we continue to pray that the goodness and love of the Father be powerfully expressed through the lives, families and congregations of these faithful shepherds to a troubled world all around them!
