Urubamba, Peru Pastoral Couple’s Training February 16 – 21
I am so thankful that God does not call us to abide in Christ alone. As adopted children of His family, we are part of a community that walks alongside us and encourage us. The 50 pastoral couples who met in Urubamba in February demonstrated this as we slowed the rhythms of life, met daily to study the Word, crossed denominational boundaries and encouraged one another in Christ.
Here is what several had to say:
“I had a beautiful time learning and remembering how good and merciful God is with me. Integrity was a word that penetrated my heart deeply. God permitted me to be here to reconnect with my husband. We have passed through some very difficult times and God’s Word has filled me again.”
“God made me see many things that I was doing wrong, I wasn’t being a man living according to His Word. I believe that God restored many areas of my life and He gave me answers to many of the doubts that I had, more than I hoped for. May He receive all of the glory!”
“I want to thank God because this conference has been an answer to my prayers. This week my husband and I have been enormously blessed from the teaching, rest, food, and meeting other couples. We feel renewed and motivated to press on in our marriage and ministry.”
